Particle NI: static locative

NI is required by existential verbs: arimąsu/imąsu/gozaimąsu/orimąsu

    Čki no mąe ni ginkoo ga arimąsu.	"There is a bank in front of the station."
    えきの　まえに　ぎんこうが　あります。
    Heya no nąka ni nčko ga imąsu.	"There is a cat in the room."
    へやの　なかに　ねこが　います。

Politeness: Honorific/Humble/Neutral [to be expanded later]

    Honorific: Sp promoting H/H's peer              
               Sensče wa irasshaimąsu ka? 	    "Is the professor in?"
               せんせいは　いらっしゃいますか。

    Humble:    Sp demoting self/peer                                       
               Kinoo watashi wa uchi ni orimąshita. "I stayed home yesterday."
               きのう　わたしは　うちに　おりました。

    Neutral:   Sp beautifying utterance              
               Ģi kuruma ga gozaimąsu.		    "We have fine cars."

DESU as a pro-form

    Sątoo-san wa dņko | ni imąsu ka?			"Where is Ms. Sato?"

    Denwa wa čki no mąe | ni arimąsu.                   "(You can find) telephones in front of the station."

DESHOO: conjectural/tentative [politeness]

Multiple particles

Discourse Particles WA/MO/DAKE/SHIKA replace GA/O/(NI) but follow others.

          Hikņoki wa Nihņn kara mo kimąsu.  "Planes come from Japan too."
　　　　　　　　　ひこうきは　にほんからも　きます。
          Furansu e shģka ikimasčn.         "I only go to France."
　　　　　　　　　フランスへしか　いきません。

    Nominal suffix -YA 'shop, dealer, delivery man'

	yao-ya  やおや --> seeką-ten    せいかてん    (seeką-gyoo せいかぎょう)
